Timely Notifications

 In compliance with the "Timely Warning" provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Dallas County Community College District Police Department is giving notice of an alleged criminal action reported to have occurred on Dallas County Community College District property:

05/25/2018

REPORTED OFFENSE:  Assault by contact - Fondling  


SUSPECT'S DECRIPTION: Suspect was described as a Hispanic male, between 5’0 – 5’2, approximately 120 lbs., age estimated at 18 to 20 years old. Seen leaving the area in a red Mitsubishi 2-door.


ALLEGED COMPLAINT: A female reported the suspect fondled her while she was in the tunnel on the jogging trail near the Valley View entrance to the college. She told officers he grabbed her both from the front and back in crotch area.


SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

    • Be aware of your surroundings.

    • Whenever possible, walk with others.

    • Notify police immediately if you see a vehicle matching this description.

It is the duty of the institution to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near its campus, and at affiliate organizations off campus; an "affirmative duty" exists to warn persons associated with this college of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties.
