Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society at two-year colleges for students who meet specific academic qualifications. Brookhaven College's chapter is Alpha Delta Pi.

General meetings are held every other Wednesday. Workshops, social events, fundraisers and community service activities are also held throughout the semester. Members are invited to attend leadership conferences as well as Honors in Action and College Project to develop skills that can help them reach academic and career goals.

Becoming a Member

Qualified candidates must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, have completed 12 college credit hours from DCCCD and must be a currently enrolled Brookhaven College student. If you meet these qualifications, an invitation to join will be sent by email at the beginning of each semester. 

The cost of membership for Phi Theta Kappa is a one-time fee of $95. Students who need assistance with the membership fee are encouraged to apply for the PTK Membership Scholarship. Applications are available in the Office of Student Life (Bldg. S, Room S201).
